Katherine Stickney Huber Memorial concert

GRAND BLANC TWP.— Lovers of jazz and rhythm and blues are invited to a night of music on Sept. 16 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church, 9020 S. Saginaw Road with Big Foot Bob & the Toe Tappers for the fifth annual Katherine Stickney Huber Memorial Concert. The concert is free, courtesy of a grant from the Grand Blanc Community Fund of the Community Foundation of Greater Flint. Spaghetti Dinner

GRAND BLANC — Phoenix United Methodist Church Men’s Club will host a spaghetti with meat and meatless sauce dinner including salad, garlic bread, cookies, and beverages for a freewill donation on Sept.17, from 5-7p.m. at Phoenix United Methodist Church, 4423 S. Genesee Rd. (north of Maple Rd.).

The Fly (It’s a Moth Knock-off)

GRAND BLANC —The Grand Blanc- McFarlen Library, 515 Perry Road, will host The Fly on Sept.19 at 6 p.m. If you’re a fan of NPR’s The Moth, you’ll love this event featuring five-minute anecdotes that fit the theme It’s Not What You Think. Women’s Club meeting

GRAND BLANC TWP. — The Grand Blanc Women’s Club will meet Wednesday, Sept. 20, at 12:30 p.m. at the Flint Elks Club, 7177 E. Maple Ave., to hear Judge John and Karen Conover speak about hilarious moments in his court room. Luncheon is $12 and all are invited to attend even if you are not a member.
