Local graduate receives scholarship

The Grand Blanc City Police Association and The American Legion Jack Carey Charities (Post 413 in Grand Blanc) teamed up this year to bring a scholarship to a Grand Blanc High School Graduate of the class of 2017, Jessica Briggs, based on her citizenship while a student at GBHS. This is the beginning of a collaborative effort between the GBPA and American Legion Jack Carey Charities to bring scholarship opportunities to GBHS students, supporting the future of our youth, our community and our country. Pictured is Officer Nate Guigear of the GBPA presenting Briggs with her certificate.
