Getting it right

GOODRICH — In an article dated April 13, “Goodrich Village Denies Waiver of FOIA Fees”, it was mistakenly written: “Sidge also reported the village is expecting approximately $1.4 million in increased revenue from the State of Michigan for road repairs.” It should have read, “Sidge also reported the villages taxable value increased approximately $1.4 million which should lead to increased revenue from the State of Michigan for road repairs.” The View apologizes for the error. — P.S.

Pastie sale

GOODRICH — Goodrich United Methodist Church, 8070 S. State Rd. will have a beef pastie sale, Friday May 19. Order by May 18 by calling the church at 810-636-2444. Pick up times on Friday will be 1-4 p.m. and Saturday pick up time is 10 a.m.-noon. Next Pastie Sale Sept. 22. — P.S.

GRAND BLANC — FISH of Grand Blanc will be holding their semi-annual collection of non-perishable food and household products to benefit needy families in the school district. Family Fun at the historical Perry house

GRAND BLANC — The Grand Blanc Historical District Commission invites the public to their biannual Perry Pioneer Days on Saturday, May 20, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 5078 Perry Rd. (additional parking at cemetery across the street) for a fun event featuring an actual archaeological dig with exhibits of previous findings, historical re-enactors, music, snacks and much more. Memorial Day at museum

GRAND BLANC — The Grand Blanc Heritage Museum, 203 E. Grand Blanc Rd, in the City Hall complex, will host an Open House on Memorial Day May 29, from 10 a.m. till 4 p.m. Visitors will be guided through exhibits and crafters will demonstrate various handicrafts. Tickets are available for the splendid 2017 raffle quilt, Cross-Stitch Daisies.
