Church to hold Summer Pastie Sale

GOODRICH — The Goodrich United Methodist Church , 8071 S. State Rd. will hold a beef pastie sale, Aug. 5. Order by Thursday Aug. 4 by calling the church at 810-636-2444 or 810-444-1194. Pick up times are Friday from 1-4 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. - noon. The next pastie sale is Sept.16. — P.S.

Blood drive to be held

GOODRICH — The American Red Cross Blood Drive will be held at the Goodrich United Methodist Church, 8071 S. State Rd, Goodrich, on Thursday, August 11, 2016 from Noon to 5:45. Appointments may be made by calling 1-800-733-2767 or going to redcrossblood.org with sponsor code Goodrich UMC. Individuals 17 years and older who are in good health may donate blood. Please have a donor card, driver’s license or MI ID with you when you come to donate. Drop ins are also welcome. — P.S.

GRAND BLANC — The New Life hristian Fellowship Childcare Center, 2237 E. Reid Rd., will be closing and plan to host a rummage/ liquidation sale, Saturday, July 30, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The center is liquidating childcare center items and having a rummage sale. Annual Bobcat Bash coming to the Jewel

GRAND BLANC — The Bobcat Bash 2016 will be held Aug. 13, at the Jewel of Grand Blanc. Starts at 8 p.m. and is open to anyone 21 or older. Sponsored by the Grand Blanc High School Class of 1984, Bobcat Bash 5 includes live music by Sugar Hook, DJ music on the patio, drink specials and a souvenir Bobcat Bash mug to the first 500 people.
