Grand Blanc began the showcase last Tuesday by defeating West Bloomfield, 4-1. A scoreless first period led to the Bobcats exploding to a 2-0 lead at the conclusion of the second frame. West Bloomfield tallied once in the third, but Grand Blanc poured on two more goals to ice the win.

Hunter Moran was the star of the night, recording a hat trick to go with his assists, totaling four points for the senior. Raurie Petrich also posted a four-point night, as he tallied on the lone other Bobcats’ goal, while assisting on all three of Moran’s scores. Ryan McElroy made it a four-point trio, as he was credited with an assist on each of the four Bobcats’ goals. Chad Galloway scored the only West Bloomfield goal of the contest.
