Family Movie Night presents Rio, Courageous

GRAND BLANC — Family Movie Night will be held at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, located at the corner of Perry and Belsay roads in Grand Blanc on Feb. 25. At 6:30 p.m. the movie “Rio” will be shown and at 8:30 p.m. the movie “Courageous” will be shown. The event is free of charge. Bring a chair, blanket or pillow to sit on. 4th Business Vs. Business Dodgeball Tournament

GOODRICH — Victory World Outreach will host the 4th Annual Business vs. Business Dodgeball Tournament on March 3 from 7-10 p.m. Local school staff teams are encouraged to join the competition against local business'. The cost is $25 per team of five players with the winning teaming claiming the coveted trophy and all the entrance money. The church is located at 10291 Green Rd. in Goodric. The Grand Blanc Arts Council to hold auditions

GRAND BLANC — Soloists are needed for the annual GBAC “Community MESSIAH Sing” and 2012, will mark the 25th season. Solo auditions will be held at Grand Blanc’s Holy Family Church, 11824 S. Goodrich Kindergarten registration scheduled

GOODRICH — Goodrich Area Schools plan to register new Kindergarten and Developmental Kindergarten children during the week of March 26-30. Round-up nights will be May 1 and May 3. Roundup is for Kindergarten students only. All children who are five (5) years old on or before Dec. 1, 2012, and live in the Goodrich Area School District are eligible for entry to Reid Elementary School. As Reid has done in the past, they will be having an AM Developmental Kindergarten and All Day Kindergarten. Registration will take place for Goodrich at Reid Elementary School, 7501 Seneca St. Details: Call 810-591-3455 and provide the office with your child’s name and address should your child be eligible. A packet will be sent for your information and completion.
