Tucker GRAND BLANC — Complete Computers is open for business in downtown Grand Blanc.

“We sell everything you need for your computer,” said owner Dave Vanitvelt. “We service all brands of computers, including Apple.”

Vanitvelt opened the store, 11355 S. Saginaw St., next to Starbucks on April 12. He had the grand opening May 1.

“We do services and sales on site, and we can come to your establishment and we have free delivery,” said Vanitvelt. “If the computer breaks down we will take the order and deliver it the same day.

“We’re in a position to work on anything from residential to large corporations.”

Company technicians can repair desktop and laptop computers and iPods and iPhones, he said.

Vanitvelt, who also owns Vision Printing Solutions, said he probably has the two best technical minds in the area working for him.

Technicians Robert Craig and Benjamin Ranger have more than 25 years of experience combined working on and repairing all types of computer equipment, Vanitvelt said.

“We’re the complete solution to everything,” Ranger added.

Vanitvelt said opening Complete Computers was a perfect fit for him because he has more than 500 customers from his other business, Vision Printing Solutions. He said he now has the technical support to service their computer needs.

Complete Computers also wants customers to know it has the lowest prices in the area. The prices include $30 for installing software, hardware and an anti virus package, $65 for installing an operating system and data and backup transfer, $75 for removing a virus, $80 for installing a motherboard and $150 for repairing a laptop jack.

Complete Computers also stocks computer parts, systems, laptops, netbooks, LCD monitors, software, game systems, video surveillance and Windows 7 operating system.

“We want the consumer to know we have a one stop computer shop from diagnostic to completely built computer systems,” Vanitvelt said.

The basic computer starts at $399, he said.

Besides servicing computers, the technicians can repair XBox 360, Nintendo Wii, Playstation 3 along with Apple products, Vanitvelt said.

Technicians also specialize in data backup and restoration as well as disaster recovery.

“We have the technology and expertise to do it all,” he said.

Complete Computers technicians also specialize in full virtualization, Craig said. This is a technique that allows one computer to use other different operating systems.

“There can be 10 different servers on one machine,” he said.

It is only possible, however, given the right combination of hardware and software elements.

Customers who bring in a Complete Computers ad from The Grand Blanc VIEW will receive 10 percent off any service, Vanitvelt said.

The store is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday.
