GRAND BLANC — The Grand Blanc boys’ lacrosse team drew a familiar foe for its first opponent of the state lacrosse tournament. Grand Blanc faced fellow Kensington Lakes Activities Association member Huron Valley United in a Div. 1 regional game last night at White Lake Lakeland.

The Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass provided not much drama on hole No 18. One Matt Kuchar went to the 18th tee box with a two-shot lead and closed the deal. The possible drama ended when Matt answered Rickie Fowler's 20-foot birdie putt on the par three 17th with a birdie putt on 16 of his own from 15-feet.
